Andy Berry

Chief Executive Officer, VertiGIS Group

Andy is CEO for the VertiGIS Group. He leads more than 600 colleagues across a global network of development, services, sales, operations, and corporate teams. Andy has an extensive background in growing global technology companies and has held executive roles at ZephyrTel, Pitney Bowes, and LogFire. Prior to joining VertiGIS, he was an Executive Vice President (International, Compass Business Unit) at Infor, and was responsible for USD $300 million of revenue across seven independent business units with over 100 products that served 20,000 customers in EMEA and Asia.

Jens Schmidt

Chief Financial Officer, VertiGIS Group

Jens is CFO for the VertiGIS Group. He leads global financial activities and is responsible for M&A and Business Integration. Jens holds a diploma in business administration; he is also a certified tax advisor and US certified public accountant (CPA). He started his career at Deloitte, where he held the role of Manager, Auditing for 8 years, including 2 years in the United States. He then worked for 12 years at Comparex as Executive Finance Director/CFO, managing large global teams (Finance, Tax, M&A, Procurement); he helped the company grow and strengthen its footprint by managing acquisitions, and through the merger with SoftwareOne. In 2020 he joined a Berlin-based software-company as Chief Financial Officer, building and managing their functions in Finance, Investor Relations, and Operations.

Frank Bröse

VP Global HR & Talent

Frank believes that people are an organizations’ greatest asset. As VertiGIS’ VP Global HR & Talent, he empowers VertiGIS team members and develops HR services and operations that help forward the company’s strategic objectives. He draws upon decades of experience to oversee all HR functions, including talent acquisition, retention, compensation, benefits, and employee development.

Prior to joining VertiGIS, Frank oversaw European and global HR operations in the hospitality, travel, and software business, including managing legal and facility matters in his most recent roles.

Lisa Cottrell

Chief Marketing Officer

As Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Lisa champions bringing VertiGIS’ world class geospatial software solutions to customers and partners around the world. She leads a team of product, digital, communications, and growth marketers that help tell the VertiGIS story through multi-channel campaigns and engaging event experiences.

Lisa believes the best marketing is one part art and one part science, and focuses on how VertiGIS technology can help solve problems more efficiently for organizations of any shape or size.

With a background in technology and financial services, Lisa has held progressive marketing management roles in brand, community relations & PR, CSR, lead generation and digital marketing. She is passionate about authentic leadership and strives to empower young people and women in their careers.

Drew Millen

Chief Technology Officer

Drew is passionate about building and executing a product strategy that delivers great geospatial software to drive customer success, ultimately allowing people to make better decisions. He leads the long-term technology vision and strategy for the VertiGIS Studio product suite and is responsible for the research and development teams.

Before working with the sales team on technical sales engagements, Drew spent several years as a software developer and leading development teams. Frequent customer and partner interactions inspired him to push his career into product and portfolio management. Since 2011 his focus has been on software strategy and he has been CTO since 2018.

Christoph Ihnenfeld

VP Global IT & Security

As VP Global IT & Security, Christoph is responsible for building a world-class IT organization at VertiGIS. He is focused on finding the right platforms and processes to serve a global company while ensuring the highest security measures are enacted to protect staff and customers alike. Christoph believes in the power of IT solutions to empower an organization to achieve its goals and its customers to achieve theirs.

Prior to joining VertiGIS, Christoph worked for several companies within the travel, banking and consulting industries. He has a master’s degree in Computer Science and enjoys leading global teams to success.

Buddie Ceronie

Managing Director, ConnectMaster

Buddie founded both Galileo and Xyplex Networks in Africa before joining 3Com/US Robotics. He was promoted to Europe in 2001, based in London.

He successfully led 3Com’s UK and emerging market subsidiaries, Avaya’s flagship UK & Ireland, Northern European and Emerging Market businesses as Managing Director and Vice President from 2003 to 2009 and 27 subsidiaries of Siemens Enterprise Networks until 2012.

More recently he has been an M&A Advisor and Operating Executive of Telecoms software companies for global Private Equity funds including ESW Capital, Oaktree and Gemspring until being appointed as the Global General Manager for Telecoms at VertiGIS in December 2023 where he currently leads the ConnectMaster business unit.

Julie Schrady

VP Partner Management

As VP Partner Management, Julie is responsible for executing VertiGIS’ global channel strategy through programs and policies that optimize channel partner recruitment, market coverage, productivity, and revenue.

She is passionate about the impact that partners can have on an organization. She believes that the most productive partnerships and programs are those that are mutually beneficial and serve the business interests of both parties.

Prior to joining VertiGIS, Julie spent many years at Infor where she held progressive roles responsible for partner management, global partner recruitment and ultimately the channel programs utilized by the global partner community.

Kees van Loo

Executive VP, EMEA

As Executive Vice President, Kees focuses on global business development working with strategic accounts and partners in VertiGIS’ core segments. He is passionate about delivering the right geospatial technology to organizations and “keeping it simple”. Having worked all over the world, Kees takes pride in building connections that harness the power of global technology for local solutions.

Prior to joining VertiGIS North America, Kees was Managing Director of Geocom Informatik GmbH in Munich, Germany and was an executive with Esri, Inc. in Redlands, California.

Elmar Happ

Managing Director, Land Management

With his decades-long experience and academic background in the public sector, Elmar is ideally suited to support VertiGIS customers ranging from state and local governments to non-profit organizations. He is driven by how VertiGIS products and services help to improve public services with tangible benefits for citizens in communities around the world.

Elmar successfully led a VertiGIS business unit for more than ten years as the Managing and Sales Director and has leadership experience in the areas of quality assurance and product management.

Christoph Kiedl

Managing Director, Facility Management

As Global GM Infrastructure & FM, Christoph is committed to helping organizations successfully manage their infrastructure through all phases of their lifecycles. He aims to increase efficiency in asset management through targeted software solutions – from planning to construction to operation. Christoph is passionate about building meaningful relationships with customers and partners to truly understand and address their needs.

With 20 years in the software industry, Christoph was most recently VertiGIS’ Sales Manager for Infrastructure & FM.

Markus Müller

VP Global Professional Services

As VP Global Professional Services , Markus Müller is responsible for the delivery of value-added services to all VertiGIS customers. The main goal of his team is to bring the VertiGIS solutions to optimal use, with a special focus on the development of SaaS/managed services offerings. He believes that spatial information can connect a wide range of information and optimize or enable almost any business process.  

Prior to VertiGIS, Markus held positions in the public sector business in Germany for more than 20 years, where he was involved in the development and implementation of AFIS, ALKIS and ATKIS for cadaster/state surveying, LISA for federal and state properties, and the LEFIS process for land consolidation. Markus considers standards to be critical for successful solutions; he was actively involved in the European INSPIRE standardization and ISO activities. 

Alexander Nettleingham

Managing Director, Sweden

As Managing Director, Alexander Nettleingham is responsible for the operational activities of EDP by VertiGIS in Sweden. Alexander is committed to making informed decisions by involving knowledgeable people from across the organization.

His focus is to shape an effective organization and ensure a solid foundation for VertiGIS’ entry into the Nordic region. To achieve this, modern leadership and an open mind are crucial, and Alexander possesses both.

Before being appointed Managing Director, he spent over 20 years in other roles within the company, most recently as Executive Vice President.
