This past weekend, Richmond participated in its 18th annual Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k. Over 30,000 participants filled Monument Avenue to take part in this historic race. The Mapcom family had over 40 runners participate over the weekend including employees, family members, and friends!
Mapcom’s own, Lake Stockdreher, placed in the top 100 of the event, completing the 6.2 miles in just under 40 minutes. His daughter also participated in the Virginia 529 Kids Run and completed her mile in 9 minutes and 29 seconds!
As a company, Mapcom sponsored $3,000 for Richmond’s chapter of Inclusive Racing, which allows athletes with physical disabilities the opportunity to be pushed in race-specific wheelchairs for some of Richmond’s biggest races!
