Building a Property AI Chatbot with FME Flow’s MCP Server

December 9 @ 6:30 pm 7:00 pm

Date: 10 December, 12.30 – 1pm AEDT

Online

FME Flow 2026.2 introduces support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP), allowing FME workspaces to be published as tools that AI agents can discover and call directly. This session demonstrates the concept through a practical Local Government use case: a chatbot that answers property and planning enquiries.

The chatbot utilises a number of tools built as workspaces that facilitate a number of popular queries, such as subdivision potential, underground utility assets, hazard & risk, and more, that require geospatial actions against multiple datasets to deliver accurate answers.

The use case highlights how FME and AI work together to utilise each other’s strengths to deliver quality outputs & seamless user experience. You’ll leave with a practical framework for identifying and building your own FME-powered MCP tools, and where FME provides value.
