End-to-end digital processes with VertiGIS FM
voestalpine Standortservice GmbH is an infrastructure service provider and a wholly owned subsidiary of voestalpine Stahl GmbH based in Linz. The company integrates the central functions of facility management, property and traffic management, occupational medicine, and corporate security, including the company fire department and plant security.
After years of successfully using VertiGIS products WebOffice and GEONIS at voestalpine Stahl GmbH, voestalpine Standortservice GmbH also launched a modern property information system based on VertiGIS FM in October 2025 for its property and traffic management division, including the Contracts, Parcels, Buildings, Easy Connect for SAP connection, and the interface to the existing GIS.
The aim of the project is to organize property-related processes centrally, transparently, and efficiently. The company expects a seamless connection between GIS and SAP data, optimized management of space, contracts, and deadlines, as well as fast, accurate evaluations of rents and leases. In the future, it will also be possible to create rental agreements directly in the system using templates and text modules. Further expansion of the solution is planned. The company is currently considering the Greenspaces FM module.
By establishing a modern, integrated information repository, voestalpine Standortservice GmbH is strategically enhancing the digital resilience and long-term viability of its property management operations.
